Every Saturday and Sunday (10: 00 – 16: 00) have a special brunch menu full of irresistible goodies.
- Popular preparation: Eggs Florentine – Posted eggs served on English homemade muffin, with spinach sauce and Dutch sauce, are a hit of the brunch menu. The French toast made from milk and egg-soaked muffins, roasted in butter, served with bananas, caju and berries sauce) – a highly appreciated brunch dessert. The menu also includes hot sandwiches (ex. Tuna Melt), full English Breakfast, juicy burgers and fresh salads.

- Plantini (One Herastrau Plaza) – A concept of allday breakfast & brunch, located in the north (one herastrau complex). The space is bright, with minimalist decoration and botanical accents – basically a cafe-bistro where you can enjoy from late breakfast at noon any day of the week (Fridays 8: 30-16: 30, weekend 9: 00-17: 00). The menu is varied and focuses on healthy and instagram-worthy options: smoothie bowls, creative toasts, salads and guiltfree desserts. It also has a small grocery store with delicacies and cold-pressed juices.
- Popular preparation: Acai Bowl – one of the menu stars, a cool bowl with cashew puree, vegetable milk, bananas, peanut butter, granola and berries, very praised by customers. Toasts are also celebrities: for example Toast with smoked salmon & avocado or Toast with scrambled eggs, aerated feta and cherry tomatoes – tasty and good-looking combinations. In the sweet chapter, the protein pancakes and the banana bread of the house stand out.

The welcoming atmosphere and pleasant scenery are appreciated, although occasionally the service was described as a little distant. Overall, however, Plantini gathers praise: “Excellent Brunch, large portions, options for vegetarians / vegans. The ambience is sending you directly to South Korea” – someone is joking, highlighting the mix of influences and diversity of preparations. In other words, Plantini quickly became a favorite place for corporate people in the area and not only, thanks to the fresh concept of extended breakfast.
- Egg (Breakfast & Brunch Restaurant) – An unusual bistro in the area of Stirbei Voda, dedicated entirely to eggs and brunch preparations inspired by international kitchens. Founded by Ayfer (originally from Turkey) and Andrei, Ou proposed to be the place where even those who are not early can have breakfast at any time, the menu revolving – obviously – around eggs in various forms. Decor is playful, with retro elements (miles, old windows) in a relaxed ambiance, like dining in friends’ kitchen. Program: Wednesday – Friday 9-15, weekend 10-15.
- Popular preparation: Maritozzo with eggs – the star of the house. Maritozzo is a fluffy Italian buns; the egg serves them either sweet (stuffed with cream, powdered with sugar) or salted. The salty one, for example, comes filled with scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, bacon and cheddar – looks like a burger, and it is absolutely delicious. From their menu are also simit (Turkish sesame pretzel, egg served, cheese, tomatoes, pickles pickled) – perfect for “softening yolk” as a review says – and the patatas tortilla (Spanish potato omelet). Practically a heaven of egg lovers in any form!
