Tea at Vlaicu – A Bohemian tea shop in an old house with shading garden (Armenian / Dacia area). Initially a genuine “garden tea,” evolved into a small bistro that also serves hot food, but retained its essence: a generous menu of tea and a chill ambience. A tea here is ~ 15 lei, and small snacks / snacks 20-30 lei. “Gorgeous garden at an old house… generous tea menu. Calm ambience, discreet music – suitable for quiet afternoons,” describes a visitor. In the evening, the tree lanterns give the place a magical air. Recommended to try “La Vlaicu” (an aromatised blend) tea with a vegan raw cake from the day’s offer.
Serendipity Bistro (formerly Serendipity Tea House) – A tea house with history, hidden in a romantic urban garden on Red Dumbrava Street (Icoana Garden area). Although reinvented as bistro (also serves coffee, lemonade and light food), the place retains the bohemian vibe: “Romantic garden, warm lights, bohemian vibe; the menu is café / bistro with a focus on relaxation. Ramayana Café – An eastern emblematic cafe-lounge (Amzei area), opened NON-STOP, known for its aroma and the multitude of themed salons (Indian, Turkish, Moroccan, etc.).
