3. Zao – One of the most popular Chinese restaurants in Bucharest, appreciated for the constancy of quality and the fact that brings authentic Chinese cuisine closer to the general public. 5. Peking Duck – A destination dedicated to the emblematic speciality of Beijing cuisine: Pekin duck. Recently opened in the Mihai Bravu area by the same ShuYu team, the restaurant impresses through manic attention to details in the preparation of this royal preparation. The ducks are carefully chosen, subjected to a ritual of marinating and drying, then baked to the fire of fruit tree wood, for a crispy and crispy skin and tender meat, then sliced in 180 fine pieces by a specialized chef. It serves traditionally with thin pancakes, hoisin sauce, green onions and cucumber – a real show of senses.
